Islam & The World This series of lectures is designed so that we can experience something of the greater Muslim world around us. The world is changing rapidly, and this change already has a profound influence on us and our families. We are living within an open society, where information is freely available and people are traveling without restriction. The only time when you are blocked is when you are psychologically or economically restricted. Although the information age has many advantages, especially for our youth, it also has much that is negative and destructive. This series of talks hopes in a small way to combat this and will try to enlighten our community about the history and achievements of Muslims in many parts of the world.
